- Renee Havener Added 2017-07-23★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆We stayed on 12/16/17 and 12/17/17. The first night we had no sleep because of three nearby rooms full of drunken guests. They didn’t quiet down until 3:30 a.m. The second night I was woken by something crawling on my neck...squished it and turned on the light to see a bedbug. We left at 2:30 am, about five minutes after seeing the bug and finding little welts all over my body. Those little welts are now the size of pennies and itch beyond belief...think mosquito bite x100. I’ve spent $50 on calamine, Benadryl, hydrocortisone, and Gold Bond with lidocaine. (Other victims might like to know the lidocaine does help). We washed and dried our clothes repeatedly and burned the suitcase. I called Choice Hotels to file a formal complaint and honestly, I don’t ever want to stay in another hotel. I’m hoping for a full refund for the weekend from hell.
